גֵּוִי֙ נָתַ֣תִּי לְמַכִּ֔ים וּלְחָיַ֖י לְמֹֽרְטִ֑ים פָּנַי֙ לֹ֣א הִסְתַּ֔רְתִּי מִכְּלִמּ֖וֹת וָרֹֽק׃

Meinen Rücken bot ich den Schlägern und meine Wange den Raufenden, mein Angesicht barg ich nicht vor Schmähung und Speien [derer, welche von der Heimkehr nichts wissen wollten].

Rashi on Isaiah
