הָעָם֙ הַהֹלְכִ֣ים בַּחֹ֔שֶׁךְ רָא֖וּ א֣וֹר גָּד֑וֹל יֹשְׁבֵי֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ צַלְמָ֔וֶת א֖וֹר נָגַ֥הּ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃

Das Volk, das im Finstern gewandelt, schaut nun großes Licht, und die im Lande des finstern Nebels geweilt, über sie strahlt Helle.
